Website Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Who we are
The Zap Company is incorporated in California. This notice covers zapco.xyz and zapp.zone, including newsletter, support, business inquiry and city-request forms. It does not replace the Zap, Zap Chat and Zapper app Privacy Policy. We currently provide local services in California.
Privacy contact: thezapcompany@zapco.xyz. Mailing address: 5469 Grand Prix Court, Fontana, CA 92336. Privacy and child-safety phone: (650) 704-5071.
Information we collect and why
- Newsletter: your email and subscription/consent record, to send company updates.
- City requests: email, selected city, region, country and place/location details, to assess demand and contact you about that area. Selecting a city is not a promise of a launch and does not enroll you in the newsletter.
- Contact and support: name, email, topic, subject, message, submission reference and consent to respond, to answer and track your inquiry.
- Business inquiries: company/contact details, optional phone and team size, service interests and message, delivered to our internal business inquiry inbox for follow-up.
- Technical information: IP address, browser/device information, requests, security and error logs, and CAPTCHA results used for hosting, security and abuse prevention. Map interactions send city/place or coordinate queries to Google Maps. Do not include passwords, card numbers, identity documents, sensitive child information or graphic abuse material in website forms.
Providers and disclosures
Google Cloud hosts these sites; Supabase stores website submissions; Resend delivers support emails; Google Maps provides maps/place searches; Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise checks for automated abuse. Business inquiries are forwarded to the Zap app’s protected Admin inbox. Our company-site database is separate from the app database. Authorized personnel and providers receive information necessary for these purposes. We may disclose records to comply with law, protect safety, investigate misuse or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
Google services may process technical information when loaded, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms. Providers may process information in the United States or other places where they operate. We do not display requesters’ email addresses on the public map, sell personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Communications, cookies and choices
Support, business and city-request submissions are separate from newsletter consent. Use the unsubscribe instructions in a marketing email or contact us to stop those emails. Service replies and privacy-request confirmations may still be sent. Websites and integrated security/map services can use browser storage and technical identifiers. Our own sites do not implement advertising tracking cookies. Browser Do Not Track signals do not disable essential security or form processing.
Retention
We retain submissions and related records while needed to handle the request, manage subscriptions, assess service interest, resolve disputes and meet legal/security obligations. A newsletter opt-out may require a limited suppression record so we do not subscribe you again. Backups and legally preserved records may outlast ordinary records. To withdraw a city request or request deletion of a submission, contact us with the email address used and any reference number. We delete or deidentify information once the collection purpose and applicable legal retention requirements end. Any retained records remain restricted to that purpose. We confirm the handling of verified deletion requests and explain applicable exceptions.
California rights and requests
You can request access, correction or deletion by email or the contact form. Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, rights may include knowing and receiving a copy of personal information, opting out of sale/sharing, limiting specified sensitive-data uses, using an authorized agent, and exercising rights without unlawful discrimination. We do not sell information or share it for cross-context advertising. We may verify your identity and an agent’s authority; do not send ID documents in an initial email. We respond within applicable statutory time limits and explain permitted exceptions or extensions. We honor applicable opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control; because we do not sell information or share it for cross-context advertising, there is no such activity to opt out of.
Children and security
These website submission forms are intended for adults. A parent or guardian should contact us on a child’s behalf. Zap Kid app accounts are governed by the app Privacy Policy and Child Safety Standards. If a child submitted personal information without authorization, contact us. We use safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We update this notice as practices change and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required. The date above identifies this revision.
